At Uncle Paul’s Pies, we believe that the best recipes aren’t just written on paper—they’re passed down through generations and perfected with a sense of purpose. Founded in 2022 in Oxon Hill, Maryland, our journey began with a simple mission: to serve more than just dessert. We wanted to provide a "slice of home" to our community, one handmade pie at a time.

Our foundation is built on two core pillars: tradition and service. As a Black-owned and veteran-owned business, we bring the same discipline, integrity, and commitment to excellence that we learned in the military directly to our kitchen. When you taste one of our signature sweet potato pies, you aren't just getting a treat; you’re experiencing the result of years of refinement and a deep-rooted pride in our craftsmanship.

To us, the sweet potato pie is the ultimate comfort food. It represents family gatherings, holiday warmth, and the soulful flavors of our heritage. We take pride in using high-quality ingredients and traditional techniques to ensure every crust is flaky and every filling is perfectly spiced. We don't cut corners because we know our customers deserve the very best.

Since opening our doors, the DC/MD/VA, or (DMV) community has been the heart of everything we do. Whether we are catering a local event or shipping a pie across the country, our goal remains the same: to spark joy and create lasting memories through food.
